Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has emerged as a major transfer target for Italian Serie A giant AC Milan as the club look to bring in a forward to bolster their attacking ranks ahead of next season.
According to reports, the Rossoneri want to take Batshuayi on loan for next season but they want to include an option to sign him permanently in case he has an outstanding campaign at the San Siro. While there has not been any official bid for the player yet, Chelsea are reportedly willing to listen to offers for their striker. However, it is expected that no deal can be completed for him unless he returns from international duty with Belgium.
The main reason that could see Batshuayi seal the move to Italy could be the fact that he is interested in reviving his club career and he would also be keen to play more games and try to score a lot of goals so he can boost his chances of being selected for Belgium’s World Cup squad next year.
